Traffic Calming Requests

  • The Traffic and Transportation Division will evaluate traffic calming requests on a case-by-case basis. To propose a speed bump, please refer to St. George’s Traffic Management Policy.

Traffic Impact Analysis

  • Per UDC Sec.7:13.9, the City of St. George will perform a traffic impact analysis for new development including a sight distance evaluation and trip distribution analysis.
  • Any development generating over 40 peak hour trips (AM or PM per the latest ITE Trip Generation Manual), will be subject to a full capacity and safety analysis. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for the completion of a full traffic impact analysis. Applicants may provide their own traffic data, provided it adheres to the St. George Traffic Data Collection Policy.
