Traffic Calming Requests

  • The Traffic and Transportation Division will evaluate traffic calming requests on a case-by-case basis. To propose a speed bump, please refer to St. George’s Traffic Management Policy – Speed Bumps.
  • For all other requests please email Transportation@StGeorgeLA.gov

Traffic Impact Analysis

  • Per UDC Sec.7:13.9, the City of St. George will perform a traffic impact analysis for new development including a sight distance evaluation and trip distribution analysis. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for the completion of a full traffic impact analysis. Applicants may provide their own traffic data, provided it adheres to the St. George Traffic Data Collection Policy.
  • Traffic counts may not be collected during certain times of the year such as summer and holidays. If you have a potential project application that has time constraints, you may obtain counts to avoid delays, provided that it adheres to the policy.
  • Access request form is required for new access or redevelopment of property with existing access. Please email form to Engineering@stgeorgela.gov
