Stormwater Infrastructure Inspections & Maintenance

The City of St. George Engineering Department monitors water quality through regular inspections and maintenance of the city’s stormwater infrastructure, ensuring drainage systems function as designed to protect local waterways. The department also authored and administers the city’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit, establishing protocols that govern how stormwater runoff is managed to minimize pollutants entering area waterways.
