City of St. George to Host City Hall Open House on August 25
ST. GEORGE, La. — The City of St. George invites residents and members of the community to attend a City Hall Open House on Tuesday, August 25, beginning at 3 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour City Hall, visit the City’s new Council Chambers and learn more about the municipal facilities serving St. George residents. Refreshments will be provided.
At 4:30 p.m., Mayor Dustin Yates and the St. George City Council will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the new Council Chambers. Residents are encouraged to stay for the City Council meeting beginning at 5 p.m. “City Hall belongs to the people of St. George, and this open house is an opportunity for residents to step inside and see their city government at work,” Mayor Dustin Yates said. “Our new Council Chambers represents more than a meeting space—it is where the future of our city will be shaped in full view of the public.”
